Nestled in the quiet beach-side town of Woolgoolga on the Mid North Coast of NSW, Project Pony blends a relaxed coastal-cowgirl spirit with warm design, soft tones, creamy textures, and mid-century details.
For White Whale and Project Pony co-owner, Ali, the new space is all about community, quality, and beautiful coffee. Together with her husband, Steve, White Whale co-owner and carpenter extraordinaire, the duo have created a café that’s simple, welcoming, and feels just like home.
A standout feature is the micro-cement bar with its tiled frontage, topped by a custom-painted La Marzocco GB5. The room’s hero (besides the coffee!) is a stunning native flower mural by Australian artist Bastian Allfrey.
Of course, the coffee is skillfully roasted by the White Whale team in Cairns, and brewed with care by Project Pony's team of skilled baristas. It pairs perfectly with a selection of top-tier baked goods crafted down the road in Grafton by Our Place. You can even pick up a loaf of fresh-baked local sourdough for your journey home.
